One of the most beautiful things in the world is the touch (and yummy scent) of a baby's skin. Now you can have a face of the same texture for £2.54 - Waitrose's new bestseller is baby bottom butter. I can't wait to try this on my skin - apparently this product creates a dewy look, soft pre-pubescent skin and plumps out fine lines. Waitrose removed parabens, petro chemicals and colours from their own baby range and have seen a huge surge in sales. Let's hope they have some left in stock as the hype for this baby is tres bien.

P.S This is really hard to track down I'm afraid - women have been bulk buying - so prepare for handbags at dawn.
P.P.S Despite the good hype, I found Colin's view interesting - sometimes ignorance is bliss.
Great link to Colin (which I just misspelled as Colon, relevant I think) Iona. I might try to source some of this, although I have spent so many of the last 7 years with my fingers in nappy cream that I was looking forward to being over it. Anyway, you're naturally dewy, why do you need this stuff?
ReplyDeleteHa. Colons are always relevant. : )
ReplyDeleteYou're very sweet, if you get your mitts on the stuff, do let me know how you get on with it. xox
Can't remember if I told you, but I bought this for Amanda's baby shower 2+ years ago and bought some for myself, tried it on the face but it's too strong and thick and you get build up of oily residue, I then continued to buy it for body cream but haven't bought it in a while, 'fraid to say it's not indispensible or actually anything special, it's all about the hype.
ReplyDeleteInteresting - I noticed the reviews were mixed - whatever next - we'll all be buying No 7 serum 'cos the scientists told us to...thanks for telling me.
ReplyDeleteInteresting product. Beauty does come from the inside. Specifically from what you eat. Carotenoids give your skin a natural, attractive glow that is noticed by the opposite sex.
